Children are “naturally” religious, meaning that they ask themselves the great questions of existence. They can understand that conversion is not a moralistic path, but a different way of thinking, therefore of living. They can understand that sin is not a question of catechism, but to avoid harm others and yourself. They may be interested in prayer: not repeating formulas by heart but thinking, listening and asking questions about life (what Jesus called God). They can appreciate parables, extraordinary fables.
